Juliana Cumbo, L.Ac, received a master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin. Her memberships include the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), the American Organization of Bodywork Therapies of Asia (AOBTA), and the Toyohari Association of North America (TANA) for which she is certified and serves as a board member. Juliana specializes in Japanese healing arts: Toyohari style acupuncture, Zen shiatsu, and Japanese herbal formulation. All of these modalities provide patients with a gentle, yet powerful experience to improve their health and overall well-being. These treatments are especially appropriate for children and needle-sensitive individuals. In addition, Juliana can provide nutritional consultation with an Oriental medical perspective to harmonize health imbalances. She is able to assist patients in making healthy food choices and in food preparation as she is a certified culinarian. Lastly, Juliana offers meditation instruction as it can assist patients by enhancing quality of sleep, reducing stress and improving mental focus. Meditation practice group meets Mondays, 6:00 - 7:00 pm.
